A set of two panels made by plating a brass panel first with brittle nickel, then with chrome. The panels are approx. 1.5” (36 mm) in width and 4” (101 mm) in length, are machined from the same stock and have corresponding cracks. They are particularly effective in assessing the penetrant inspection system’s ability to detect surface discontinuities. It results to be very handy for simultaneous comparison of the penetrants from two batches. Sold in sets of two, with photographs.
