Also for 2023 CGM is pleased to announce the re-achievement of the Cribis certification, attesting maximum commercial reliability.

Ensuring respect for the trust placed in our capabilities by our customers is an essential principle for all of us, as well as a considerable source of pride.

Just before the company’s closure for the Christmas and New Year’s holidays the CGM staff met all together at the corporate Christmas lunch held at the brand new workshop. We are pleased to share some snapshots of the event, which over the years has become company’s joyful tradition, as well as distinction received by some of the employees for their long-standing career at CGM (10, 20, 30 years). A big thank you to all for the dedication and commitment!

The company will be closed during Christmas Holidays from 24 December to 2 January 2023.

On November 17th CGM took part in the awarding event of the “contest for prevention and packaging sustainability”, organized by CONAI (National Packaging Consortium) and Corriere della Sera – L’Economia. Our company was among the winners of the prestigious eco-friendly packaging award for the use of containers (both 5 and 10 l) made from regenerated plastic for CGM MT and PT consumables.

For CGM, environmental protection and sustainability are among the goals of primary importance, towards reaching which all possible efforts must be directed in trying to improve the environmental situation that is now well beyond the critical threshold, as was clearly demonstrated by the speeches held during the award day. A big and heartfelt thanks goes to CGM Head of Laboratory, Ms. Giuliana Baratta, who for years has been dedicating particular attention and efforts to improving our work environment and all the materials used in the production cycle.

This year, from 19 to 21 October, CGM had the pleasure of actively participating at the 19th AIPnD Congress – National Conference on Non-Destructive Tests, Monitoring and Diagnostics, organized by the AIPnD Italian Society for NDT in Verona, Italy.

The event was undoubtedly a success: not only from the “interpersonal” point of view, with hundreds of professionals meeting in person again and exchanging opinions after a long time, but also from an organizational perspective, with a series of presentations delivered by the industry experts, aimed at putting in light some of the major issues and topics related to the NDT field.

The Opening ceremony included a panel of guest speakers talking about highly relevant topics: starting with the report on climate change (today more alarming than ever), which necessarily also involves NDT, moving on to other topics that are more visionary and optimistic, such as the possibility for humans in the coming years to reach not only the Moon but Mars as well, thanks to cutting-edge space missions, or the concrete opportunity to make a real energy shift in terms of fuel, thanks to the increasingly advanced studies on development of hydrogen engines.

CGM was proud to receive a participation award during this Opening ceremony.

The days at the exhibition were busy with the meetings and resulted to be fruitful on both commercial and interpersonal levels, with numerous visits to our stand by friends and long-time customers.

We look forward to repeating the experience during the 20th Congress, which will take place in two years: cannot wait to see all those who wish to come and visit us!
