MB 3.0 Selene

MB 3.0 Selene (Battery or AC powered) is simply Genius! A combination of smart mechanics and efficient electronics, designed to survive extreme temperatures and harsh working conditions, 24 x 7. Penetrant resistant, with acoustic battery indicator and certified with an ingress protection marking of IP68. Beam profile covers an area of Ø 8 inches / 20 cm and generating an intensity of 9000 µW/cm2 from a distance of 38 cm (15 inches). It is equipped with a strong white light LED that generates 1076 lux (100 fc). Battery running time is 2,5 hours. Batteries can be recharged by removing them or simply charge via an external charging cable. MB 3.0 Selene has been tested to comply with ASTM E3022-18 and ISO 3059-12. It also complies with Airbus AITM6-1001 at a working distance of 21 inches (53 cm).

MB 3.0 Atlas

MB 3.0 Atlas (Battery or AC powered) is simply Genius! A combination of smart mechanics and efficient electronics, designed to survive extreme temperatures and harsh working conditions, 24 x 7. MB 3.0 Atlas has been tested to comply with ASTM E3022-18 and ISO 3059-12 standards as well as USAF requirements. It also complies with Airbus AITM6-1001 at a working distance of 21 inches (53 cm). This light does not have white light.

Magisglow 1

Technical datasheet

General description

Magisglow 1 is a water washable fluorescent penetrant featuring excellent washability and has the lowest sensitivity level available in CGM’s range of fluorescent penetrants.
It can be used in a wide variety of applications with good penetration characteristics and excellent reliability in identifying open surface defects with defect dimensions detectable using a 0.5 level penetrant.

ECO Water Red

General description

ECO Water Red is a water-washable, color-contrast, UV-fluorescent penetrant with excellent resolution when detecting indications of surface discontinuities. This penetrant belongs to the CGM’s ECO line as it is a water-based product: it therefore does not contain petroleum derivatives or hydrocarbon mixtures. It thus has a low environmental impact compared to classic petroleum-based liquid penetrants. Additionally, you can use it as a fluorescent liquid under UV light to amplify indications.

CGM Christmas Lunch

As per the tradition, CGM brought together all its employees for the 2023 Christmas lunch. This event was an excellent venue to talk about the milestones achieved in 2023, a year which coincided with the Company’s 65th anniversary and which saw CGM consolidate its position as a leader in the NDT industry both in Italy and abroad, with a number of important projects completed, and numerous other projects in development. During the year we participated in a wide range of national and international trade fairs: in addition to the usual events, such as Control Trade Fair, Cofrend and ASNT, we had the pleasure of exhibiting – for the very first time – at the APCNDT in Australia and FITMA in Mexico.

However, the day was not only about recapping the year’s hightlights and talking about the company’s results: the traditional Christmas lunch was an important get-together occasion, during which every CGM employee could celebrate the end of the year together with other co-workers in the atmosphere of humor and light-heartedness –  that harmonious environment which has always been one of the distinguishing features of the  CGM’s work culture.

Thus, during the event a traditional award ceremony took place, with the distinction going to the employees for their long-standing career at CGM (10, 20, 30 years). Another event’s highlight was the year-end lottery, with a vast selection of the prizes, where the luckiest won.
