Magnetic particle inspection consumables, Magnetic powder
Magnetic Powder K 31.73
General description
K 31.73 is a fluorescent atomized magnetic powder used to prepare suspensions for magnetic particle inspection – wet method.
K 31.73 can be suspended in a petroleum (oil) based liquid carrier, such as Kerosenoil, or in water with the addition of a wetting agent (such as Ata Fluid A44 or Wetting Agent A38) to improve particle mobility, the wettability of the surface and the corrosion inhibition. Due to small size particles, this powder is very sensitive and particularly suitable for surfaces with low roughness.
K 31.73 is a low-sulfur and low-halogen product, in compliance with standards.
